ECORAM-DCP©, AN INNOVATIVE PLANT-BASED BINDER

EcoRam-DCP© is a plant-based binder that has been specially formulated to prevent the formation of dust generated by machine traffic on uncoated runways. When used continuously, it also improves the resistance of treated surfaces. In rainy weather, circulation is facilitated, as the acquired bearing capacity is maintained. In addition, EcoRam-DCP does not waterproof the soil.

The amount of EcoRam-DCP© binder required depends on the type of materials making up the runway structure to be treated. The exact dosages must be determined by experimental testing.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE TO BE TREATED

  • Sufficiently load-bearing substrate with prior knowledge of its porosity
  • Compact surface, homogeneous in texture, avoiding elements greater than 20 mm
  • Sufficient slope to guarantee good drainage
  • Re-profiling if these conditions are not reached
  • Before treatment, light watering of the surface for better adhesion between the fines and the binder

ECORAM-NC525©

The EcoRam-NC525© is the original RAM ENVIRONNEMENT process (RAM = Reduced Molecular Action).

This solution consists of water with the addition of our EcoRam-NC525© surfactant, which has been specially developed for spray dust suppression.

The EcoRam-NC525 surfactant increases the contact surface between the wetted water droplets and the dust particles.

The addition of moisture to the dust particles modifies their specific mass and allows an immediate fall in this mass, hence the usual term “dust suppression”.

A fine mist of a solution is applied to the dust generating points in small proportions.

This non-ionic surfactant is not harmful and complies in all respects with current legislation.

PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE TO BE TREATED

  • The RAM© group automatically mixes the surfactant into the water line according to the required flow rate by means of a digital meter and a pump.
