Renewable energy plants
The various biomass power plants produce large volumes of dust during unloading, conveyor transfers and storage.
The number one rule for these plants is to keep the moisture content of the product constant so that it does not interfere with combustion in the boiler.
Our DS SONIC© system (air/water mixture) enables us to produce a very fine fog that is extremely effective on the most volatile dusts without changing the humidity level of the materials.
We have installed our systems on the following materials: forestry chips, recycled wood, bagasse, pellets, straw and coal before the energy transition.
Dust suppression also allows us to get out of the ATEX regulations for certain areas where the dust could be considered explosive.
